Listen and Learn activity group

Since the beginning of March, in addition to our regular drop in pre-school Stay and Play sessions, staff from The Poppies have been running a Listen and Learn activity group for families with pre-school aged children on Thursday mornings.
The need to provide as many high quality speech and language experiences as we can for our pre-school children has been a hot topic in the national press recently, with stunning statistics about the impact that early language development has on children’s learning and achievement in later life.
If you think you may be interested in joining the next group, please contact Mrs. Phillips or Mrs. Best in school.
