Y5/6 Quicksticks Hockey Tournament
Quicksticks It was a very cold March day when some of the Y5 and Y6 children visited the Outdoor Centre in St. Ives to represent the school in the Quicksticks Hockey tournament. There were some very tight games leading to several draws and Wyton also managed one win and a couple of defeats. It was an impressive display by the team as they demonstrated the skills they'd been learning in the hockey club. Click here to see more pictures from the tournament. Quicksticks

Young Voices concert
Young Voices
The choir ventured down to the O2 in London for the second time as they joined many other schools to take part in the Young Voices concert. Following months of work some very excited children (and a few members of staff!) performed to thousands of friends and family. The event was again a resounding event and throughly enjoyed by the children who did the school proud.

Y3/4 Fitzwilliam Museum Trip
Fitzwilliam Museum
To finish their history topics, the Y3 and Y4 children spent the day at the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge. Y3 had been learning about the Ancient Greeks and the Y4s had studied the Egyptians. The children became trainee archaeologists for the day as they learnt how to discover about life thousands of years ago from the artefacts that have since been discovered.

Y5/6 Tag Rugby Tournament
Tag rugby 2017
Our first sports tournament of the year took place at Hinchingbrooke School as some of our Year 5 & Year 6 children competed against other small schools in the annual Tag Rugby tournament. There were some excellent players on show but our team aquitted themselves superbly and finished a credible 10th. After we'd finished one of our Y6 children said she was gutted that she wouldn't be able to take part again next year.
