Every year, staff and governors meet for a joint planning or training event on an issue or innovation which has been identified as part of the school's RAP. Where appropriate, the school invites a Local Authority Advisor or Educational Consultant to guide discussion.
Previous joint staff-governor / training has included:
  • Vision (autumn 2009)
  • Financial Management in Schools (November 2009)
  • Critical Incident Planning (January 2010)
  • Planning effective school self-evaluation governor visits (June 2010)
  • The role of the Subject Leader and Subject Governor (January 2011)
 
On Tuesday 22nd April 2014, a representative group of thirty three members of the school community met to review the school aims values and vision of the school, including governors and parents as well as teachers, learning mentors, TAs, support staff .
