The Government has asked all Local Authorities in the UK to publish, in one place, information about the services and provision they expect to be available in their area for children and young people from 0 to 25 who have Special Educational Needs and/or a Disability (SEND). This is known as the Local Offer.
At Wyton on the Hill Primary School we are committed to the equal inclusion of all pupils in all areas of primary school life. We recognise the diverse and individual needs of all of our pupils and take into account the additional support required by those children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We therefore welcome the Local Offer and are in the process of adding information about the way in which we aim to fulfil the objectives outlined in our Local Offer to this section of our website.
Pinpoint, the local Parent Carer Forum and hub for information, signposting and events for all things SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities).
Navigating the landscape of SEND can be daunting for parents/carers, making sure that they have the help and support that they need is vital to helping their child/young person thrive. At Pinpoint, we are passionate about ensuring parents feel supported and connected. Our Tii Hubs provide invaluable peer connections through online sessions. Additionally, our expert-led information sessions are a valuable source of information.
